Chris Knox was interviewed some time ago in Tape Op, and along with his partner Alec Bathgate has been the Tall Dwarfs for many years now. This album began on Chris' 1/2" Tascam 8-track but ended up dumped to a new Pro Tools rig, a big jump for Knox's home studio. But don't worry, the rough and tumble fun sound remains, and if 17 songs weren't enough an 8-song International Tall Dwarfs EP is tacked on with mailed in and in person contributions from Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel), The Clean, Jad Fair and others.
