The Return of Quantegy?

Quantegy , despite the oddity of still being an active link, posted this announcement recently: "Plans are being formulated for the revival of Quantegy 499 Gold Studio Mastering and GP9 Platinum Studio Mastering audio products, as well as the Black Diamond Hard Disk Drive series of products."
Peter Hutt and Jahret Sylvester give their names as the people to contact. Hmmm. I do know that Peter was searching around for someone to do the manufacturing of these tapes for him, as there is no operable tape making equipment left from the Quantegy factory. And I believe that RMG said, "No." So who else has tape making capabilities? Why ATR magnetics, of course. Hmmm... I am glad that there is tape available now and in the future, with three operating decks in my studio....

I don't know about the next generation formula of Quantegy, but we have new, original-formula GP9, 499, 456, etc. at ReelDealPA.com. It ships next day and insured from a climate-controlled facility in centrally-located St. Louis.

Hello Larry, Thanks for generating more buzz about what we are currently working on. The company we will have OEM this product is still not officially determined, but as you are well aware, there are only so many poeple around the world that are capable of manufacturing it. Please be assured that we will not release any product that is not to the same specifications that everyone else has grown to love. We are currently working on putting the Quantegy Online store back up which will list what products we still currently have available in our warehouse as well as other Hard Drives we have tested and are marketing.
